Cardiff - Akai Ryuu Kendo club Beginners Course:
The next beginners course starts on Tues 23 February 2010, 1930hrs.
The fee for the 6 week course is £60 which includes a new shinai and four months temporary membership and insurance with the British Kendo Association.

Christmas Break schedule

Just to remind you all. Our last practice of 2009 at the Heath will be this Sat 19 December. Our last 2009 practice at WIS will be Tues 22 December. First practice after the Christmas and New Year break will be Tues 5 January. Tuesday 5 January will also be the start of the first beginners class of 2010. Take care out there over this festive season.

The annual meal will take place this Thursday at the Japanese Sushi/noodle bar on City road, Tenkaichi. About 50yards before lights on albany road. Please let Mike know ASAP if you plan to attend. We have booked for 12 but we need to know exact numbers. Thank You.

New Location for Training

From next Tues, 8 December, 2000-2200hrs we will be practicing at the Welsh Institute of Sport (WIS) in Sophia gardens, just off Cathedral rd. We are in the new dance studio, ask for directions at reception. Great floor, better facilities. See you all there. Beginners please take note.
Ps. Ref my last blog, I will be taking the Sat morning practice, as Shaun will not be available.
