New Club at UWIC Cardiff

James Ogle, MSc? student at UWIC, has now set up a university Kendo Club. Times and address below. Members of Akai Ryuu, please give James your support. It is in all our interests to promote and encourage Kendo Practice. I shall be trying to make the Sun practice, sore head and all!! Any other Kendoka, please feel welcome to attend, James is a very good teacher.

9th November 2010 Beginners Class

The next beginners class will take place at 2000hrs at Welsh Institute of Sport, Sofia Gdns. Please come early on 1st night to enable staff to issue shinai and do the insurance/admin stuff!
The 6 week course runs from 2000-2100hrs every Tues night and covers basic footwork, cuts, suburi, and fitting of armour and maintenance of shinai.
